1st Grade Measurement and Data Summary
First grade students will learn how to classify three items by size: taller, shorter, longer, and higher. They will compare the lengths of two objects indirectly by using a third object as guidelines. Students will practice how to express the length of an object as a whole number of length units. Students will also organize, represent, and interpret data with up to three categories. In addition, students will learn how to tell and write time in hours and half hours using analog and digital clocks.
