Measurement and Data
This year, your child will be building on an increasingly complex understanding of measurements and data interpretation. The key concepts of measurement instruction will include time, length, volume, area, perimeter, geometric measurements, and weight. In addition, they will also continue to collect, interpret, and analyze data using various types of graphs. These skills will provide your child with the foundation needed to understand more complicated and abstract concepts such as statistics and probability.
